Seasonal events that require Anniversary cars are unfair...

I understand that you get something extra if you pre-order, or that you can have more cars at the start of the game if you buy the more expensive version of the game.
How ever i did not know that not buying the anniversary edition of the game would prevent me to play most of the seasonal events... This sucks a**.

I would gladly pay the difference between normal and anniversary edition to get the cars, but I'm not willing to buy entirely new disk just to obtain the cars so that I can play every challenge...

Will there be any of the cars on sale in PSN store at some point ??

I'm on the opposite side. I'm glad as hell my bro got me the regular edition. That way, the already bland and boring "career mode" is a little more challenging that if I actually already had the 700 PP Toyota Minolta 15 anniversary edition or whatever else to crush the first few races in a heartbeat.

I get what you say... It is more fun to race with an car that has same amount or less PP as the other drivers. I don't see the point in races that you win by 2 laps....

What I meant was that its sucks a** that I am not able to drive every event in the game cos I did not buy the anniversary edition. To me it would be ok if I could drive the events with normal cars.

I didn't care much for that event at Spa that could only be won with a certain anniversary car that you got for pre-ordering from a retailer other than the one I pre-ordered it from. That kind of stank.

The way I look at it, these events are a reward for those of us that had enough confidence to take the risk of buying in sight unseen. You didn't take the risk so you don't get the reward.

There is a thread on the Seasonals forum that shows a number of people have got gold with the C7 or the Pagani and of course the R8.

That's why I didn't touch a single one of the Anniversary cars when I started GT6 on my second account. It's still cool to have them though.

Same here.

I have all Anniversary cars and I haven't done any of those Anniversary seasonal events.

But what if someone had the game bought for them as a present and didn't have a choice of which version they got as they didn't know they were getting it? Xmas wasn't so long ago. The anniversary cars should be made available as DLC

Then you're out of luck. Suck it up.

Well said, I find it hard to believe how some people are getting so upset about not being able to drive in 2 or 3 events which are purely 1 lap, not even a race. Deal with it, there's bigger issues in life.

I don't think anyone's upset. Just looking for clarification. I don't think OP is ready for suicide yet. Of course there are bigger issues. There are bigger issues than a hell of a lot of posts on this site but that doesn't make them any less relevant.

I did. But many will want to clear everything in the game and will question the fairness of an event in their game they can't even enter let alone clear. Perhaps the seasonals for the anniversary cars should only have appeared in the anniversary edition. IDK how feasible that would be.

The unfairness is quadrupled since this mission pays out a lot unlike others.

And I wasted 2mill Cr on the similar car that I got from the dealer thinking that would be eligible... apparently not. Sigh!

Probably, but not for a while.I imagine there will be a fair amount of other DLC released before they're made available to everyone. That's how many other games have done it in the past. I'd say at least a year.

I'd say never. The Chromelines and Stealth (GT5) cars NEVER showed up as DLC, even after 3 years. If you got it with your Collectors or Signature editions, you were literally the only ones that had them.

Either way, the Seasonals don't count toward anything, they're just extensions and cash grabs. They have no affect on game progression or completion.

I hope not. I'm sure many people want to celebrate 15 years of GT by driving a blue car.
