Seasonal events.

Been lurking since gt5 came out.Joined today over an issue I'm having.

I can play gt5 with no problems.I can go and play in the lobbies.

I cannot play the seasonal events.Says I must register at gran-turismo.com

I made a psn online id today and log into gran-turismo.com that way.When I go to my home it says...

" There is no record of this ID having been used to access Gran Turismo 5's online functions, so you cannot view the online users' page.

Connect your PlayStation®3 to the Internet and use this ID to access Gran Turismo 5's online functions, then try signing in here again.
From this site, you can access some of the features of Gran Turismo 5's My Home page, including the messageboard, mail service and profile settings."

I'm lost. any help?? thanks

You only need to register for the GT Academy, and you can do that here (http://us.gran-turismo.com/us/academy/2011/).

For the other seasonal events, you do not need to specially register, but (like most things), you probably need to be logged in.

The error message you're getting from the website is telling you that since you haven't logged in with THAT PSN account via GT5, so there is no profile information yet in existence.
