Has anyone noticed that if you use a takata nsx your job will pit beginning of lap 8 bandit you use the raybrig and then your bob will pit on lap 9? Is it because one car is softer on tires than the other? Both cars are set up exactly the same by the way.
 
i'm using sport soft and bob doesn't need to pit...so i don't know...i'm using the mobil 1 nsx
 
takata probably has more torque = more tire wear

or more rear downforce maybe

either way, ur doing it wrong, he shouldnt be pitting at all
 
I set my Bob off last night for some quick winnings on Spa and he pitted on 8 and 9... totally blew the race for me and he ended up in 7th place.

Not only did he pit twice, he changed to Racing Hards while the track was still damp and couldn't keep the car on the track.

His strength levels were down a little but nothing that should have made him so irratic.

Is this some sort of bug?

Make sure driver strength pit in is set to "off" in pit strategy?
 
I use the Raybrig NSX everytime with Sport soft tyres and dominate everytime, Bob doesnt pit

Yeah mine did the same. except i had mine pit at the end of sixth to Racing intermediates and left him alone. come back a bit later to find he finished 5... look at the replay and turns out he pitted lap 7 AND 8... :banghead:

Just had the same thing happen. I normally start the race and turn off the tv. By default bob will pit around lap 7 and get racing hard. I set to intermediates in pit settings this time. As soon as he was out of the pits he wanted to pit again. Looks like they want RH for the last laps despite the moisture still on track. Try leaving pit settings alone.
 
using racing intermediate tires, I plugged in a usb keyboard and taped down the enter key (using a bottle top and duct tape) so that it would continue telling my driver to not pit.

👍 guaranteed money maker, this one! If your Bob isn't winning, wait til the dampness indicator is less than 20% before you start. The AI cars start on RH and have to pit at the end of lap 1 when the dampness returns to 30% for the start of the race.

I know it's been said before, but it's worth saying again

/\ 👍:tup:wait five to ten minutes for dampness to fall then setoff on inters Job Done.
 
I have been using the Spa race to level up my Bobs. Mobil 1 NSX with Sports Softs. They never pit and they all always win. I think this is a good way to build their level/experience/strength so that you can run the enduros without having to watch over them during the long races. Just choose your 4 and let them run while you are sleeping.
 
I just had the best experience and most fun in B-Spec mode. I've used the Honda Raybrig Nsx and won it in my first try. Was really nice to watch, and with my 170% bonus I got more than 3 million credits and tons of EXP for my bob. Even without pitting. Just cancelled it the whole time. :)

Edit: Bob was at level 21 and started with intermediate tyres.
