The slipstream has improved greatly with the update. I was racing online (not on Daytona) and really didn't notice much slipstream. It felt much more real trying to catch that car in front of me.

That's only for online racing. 100% guaranteed if they did something like this it would use the standard slipstream just like all the other seasonals, and with the forced ASM. If they didn't it might be cool, but PD is still PD.
I've wanted this one since I first heard about the inclusion of Daytona in GT5.
I Also would like the 24 Hours of Daytona under the Endurance series.. I could just imagine.
This. Good idea in theory, but it's not going to be much fun (jn fact it'd probably would be mind numbing) with just 12 cars on the track rather than the 40+ in the real race.
Good idea. Is the Daytona 500 soon? I never got why they didn't make seasonals of important real life races. I really expected a Monaco Seasonal and a Le Mans seasonal for different classes etc.
Nascar has allready been a seasonal event multi times.
It remained Time Restricted as they have had bonus content added to it and higher payouts
This included another free Nascar, free muscle car and a free JG Nascar suit.
I believe it is done this way so Nascar Does not get to boring.
If you had rechecked the CLOSED seasonal list on GT own site for events that have been done allready, you find...
