Seasonal Time Trails and Academy – Any Prizes?

I’m simply not good enough to win against many of you in these modes, 700th or so is about as good as my old self and d-pad can do.

My question is, is there any point to playing these if “wining” is out of the question? XP, credits, or unlockable rewards?
