I have been revisiting some of the older Seasonals and feel they are really easy compared to the latest ones. Anyone else feel the same?

No, they all seem as easy now as they were before, especially with the forced SRF. If anything, they are easier with the forced SRF on. No need to turn this into another SRF hate thread, just answering your question with my point of view.

The newest I havent tried because I dont enjoy the whole SRF thing but some of the ones leading up to that were abit more difficult. Not harder in the sense that the racing is closer or AI is tougher, they just put more pressure on you with the rabbits. Especially on some of those shorter races where you have a very limited time to catch it.

All the seasonal events are easy for me so i dont need to go back to old seasonal events.

I've just started playing, and it seems to me that it's fairly even. Some are to easy, some needs a bit more finesse. TT 57# The Viper run gave me a really good challenge, and I learned a lot to in the process. I've started with the Honda Civics now, and that seems like a fairly hard challenge as well, look forward to it :)

I love the DTM and Super GT seasonal...nice to use evenly matched cars

I was talking specifically about how fast the rabbit car seems to be in some of these seasonals. As an average driver I find the earlier ones really easy to win with several different cars, the last few I've had to tune and tune cars for at last some of the events, like London in the Nascar, while the other races were easy in that series I didn't come across the need to tweak a car for a specific track in any Seasonal until the Lambo Challenge, where one race was much more difficult for me to win.

Also an average driver & using Ds3 controller , I am finding the latest one's harder . The time penalties make it almost impossible & London almost impossible for me . I am lucky if I get into the top 30,000 in time trials :ouch::ouch:

not really, the only ones ive noticed that have gotten notably harder are lambo on the ring and japanese 80's classic first course i believe. in fact the japanese one might be impossible even for the aliens depending on the rabbit. really stupid if you ask me. lambo is a b!tch on the ring, i did this one easily last year, its gotten much harder since its return back into the seasonals.

Thanks ozirules. I was beginning to think I was the only one. And 30 000th in the TTs is a dream for me.👍

golding most seasonals on the first or second try, that hasnt changed since the introduction of seasonals. Only one i couldn't gold is the Lambo seasonal.

I think they are about the same, but I find the newer ones to be funner. I loved the Nascar races on non-race tracks. Nascar in the city????? Or on Autumn Ring???? Just a chance to put high performance cars through thier paces on a different track makes it more interesting for me. Not the same old same old with a randomly generated Kart track at the end is an improvment.

The seasonals got harder when they came up with the Lamborghini Exclusive, no doubt about it...But still, some (most) of them are still very easy...

If You look at the latest NASCAR event, the London race was pretty hard....I managed to win it with 625pp, after softening my dampers a lot...The other ones, Autumn Ring, Fuji and Monza was piece of cake, won them in first go....But London took many tries for me....

I think PD vary the toughness of the seasonals, for newer players....

Also; if You compare the old, now closed, "World Circuit Tour 750pp" with the new one "Real Circuit Tour 750pp" You will find, that the old one was way way easier.....Not that the new one is very hard, but harder than the old one....

So the forced on SRF does not make the newer events easier....

The last completed TT had over 82,000 entries. That's a LOT of people participating. Plus lots of players struggled to get Gold and many didn't. So a lot of people have a hard time with these Events. Sometimes I take that for granted and don't realize how many players consider GT5 pretty darned difficult.

The difficulty level has never been consistent. That goes with the latest round of SRF Events too. If I need a challenge lately I'll drop tire grades. For some reason the low pp deal never was that interesting to me. I'd rather get my braking zones down closer to the AI's levels with lesser tires and no abs than underpower a car. I wish less grippy tires and using unmodded cars/no aids could be part of the pp seasonal reward equation.

wow, suddenly i do feel better with my in the 3000 ranking with the tt. its not good, but still bottom of the top 5% seems pretty respectable for me. im a ds3 player and dont really bother that much with the tt's so i know i could have done better had i tried more often and used a tune. i do normally gold seasonals in 1 go, cept sometimes (lambo &750 pp @ spa did take a couple tries). i still have to gold lambo on the ring now that i think about it. i think its time i start using tunes (would have golded spa 750 pp in 1 go with right tune, minolta with no aids cept srf still spins in 1st & 2nd at max power).

82,000 World wide is a pittance & how many copy's of GT5 sold ? Doe's that mean most players find TT's too hard to bother ?

That, or they don't play GT5 any more.
