Just got myself an Obutto Ozone, and although I'm very happy with the steel frame, the provided seat doesn't suit me well (my thighs are a bit compressed by the side bolsters and my head sits like at the worst spot at the top of the seat). I have an RX-8 seat lying around, it feels nearly tailor made for me and I'd like to mount it instead.
Issue is the rails are spaced wider so I would need to get some adapters bolted on the frame and extending a bit further. I've just changed some furniture so I have some wood pieces available I could trim to my needs. They're 0.6" / 1.5cm thick, so I wonder if that will hold up, knowing that seat + me probably weights about 220 lbs /100 kg.
