Performance-oriented MPV machines have their own place on the market. Their presence in video game may not be easily justified, but on daily schedule properly powered MPV can perfectly satisfy both family and sports driving needs. I think the Altea FR deserves to appear in the game as it could appeal to senior gamers who have once experienced the obligations of being a parent.
The Seat Altea is a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) designed by Walter de Silva. It shares many components with Volkswagen Group, such as platform and engines. The car won many awards for its exterior solutions and roomy interior, but was criticized for having modest boot capacity (409 liters) and cheap interior plastic.
The top model FR was available with 2.0 TDI (170 HP) and 2.0 FSI (200 HP) engines. The latter model came with 17-inch alloy wheels, bigger disk brakes and number of visual enchantments inside and outside. More importantly, the car lays on 15 percent stiffer springs, tougher roll-bars and 7 mm lowered undercarriage (the last sentence refers to the comparison between the regular Altea and FR 2.0 TDI Altea, although I assume the same or slightly different facts are applicable to the FR 2.0 FSI model too.)
This car would give the OPC Zafira a run for its money.
