Ive been playing GT since GT3 and i have always wanted a seat/ wheel set up but always put it off. One big reason is that im a big guy, 6'7" 300 lbs and all the seats on the market just looked small. Seeing as how nowhere near me stocks them so i can see if i fit i just bit the bullet and ordered a Rseat evo3 with a thrustmaster t500 and shifter. I am very glad i did. The evo with the thrustmaster set up stretched out at full capacity is actually to big for me, i had to bring it all in to get in the best posistion. The seat fits perfect and the steering column doesnt hit my legs. It all feels very sturdy and secure. So if you are a larger than normal human there is hope if you want a really nice set up.

I'm your height or VERY CLOSE (read below) and about 235lbs and I ended up building an aluminum rig that would stand up to my abuse and be adjustable enough for smaller body sizes as well. My buddies 6 and 8 year old daughters race it when they come over too since the pedals and seat slide. Couldn't see spending as much as places wanted knowing my size would most likely abuse it and I'd be uncomfortable. It's nice to recline the seat for a stretch an slight breather after a heated online race.

I wish I was 6' 7" :(

HAHA I am 6'7" or used to be before all my crashes streetbike stunting, may be 6'6" now from compression. You think you want to be this tall but after 3 or 4 days of banging your head on crap and having a sore lower back from the world being built for shorter people and you'd be asking to drop back down a little....unless of course you want to be an nba basketball player and then you better be FAST because 6'7" is short in the nba.

The pic below is my tall man adjustable rig with easily removable seat bracket to use as solo gamer chair, the pic is before the mount for the ebrake and sequential shifter unit. I'm going to get some way better pictures of this and put it up on craigslist for sale pretty soon to fund building a few more with some removable tv mounts, keyboard mounts and even more adjustability.

I'm 6'5-6"ish and what Mike says is spot on. The world just isn't made for us guys
6'2-6'4 is about as far as you want to go if there was such thing as choice in the matter.

Btw, cheers for posting OP and welcome to the forum.
