There were different versions of this Cupra. It started with a V6 204 hp engine, then changed to the 1.8 20VT engine with 210 hp and finally the Cupra R, with the same engine but with 225 hp, just like the S3 but without 4WD.

There are just a few in the streets and it was only available on the very first stage of the Cupra sales. It equiped the famous VR6 2.8 engine. Also was available with 4WD. Incredible, isn't it?
It's not official, but the reason behind the change to the 1.8 20VT could be the overweight that the Haldex transmision and the V6 engine have. The 1.8T is pretty much faster that the V6.
There is a 1.8 20VT 180 hp in the list that I think that wasn't available here in Spain, that's why I didn't mention it in the first place, where I wrote using my memory.
