Needing some help here, I had my eyes on one of the GT Omega seats but unfortunately they dont deliver to the Channel Islands.

I'm looking for a bucket seat with sliders that will fit this rig without having to drill more holes in it.

Hopefully someone has this rig on here and can point me in the right direction.

I dont really want to spend more than £150 on a seat, but am willing to spend no more than an extra £50 on it.

I have been on the Pro Simtech site, they have a seat but only the cheaper sliders for it in stock which they told me I would feel the difference using them compared to the other sliders which are not back in stock till november.

Any help here would be great.

Thanks.

I have a Sparco R100 seat on my Simetik, I used a seat slider kit off of ebay, went together easily and works great, I would recommend emailing Simetik they were very helpful.

Ordered my seat and attachments today, I decided to go with a blue OMP seat.

Had my CSL Elite for a week now and its seen no action. The end is now in site where I can start sim racing again.

Looks a fantastic rig cant wait to set it up when it arrives.

Here come the delays, I was expecting them to be fair, I'm in a covid free island so tend to forget how bad it is in other places. We have been covid free for about 4 months.

Oh well just have to wait it out

It really is a very good bit of kit!
Things aren't going well, just received my seat slider kit but it's only come with one rail. I ordered it from Demon Tweeks. Things never run smoothly. Surely the box must of felt lighter to them, those rails have a fair bit of weight to them

That's not very good! Are you sure both rails aren't stuck together one inside the other?
My rig is due to arrive in the next day or so, seeing as though you have the same rig what size and length bolts did you use to mount the pedals?

I used the bolts that came with the rig, they give you some spares for mounting etc, I did drill a couple of extra holes in the pedal plate just to fine tune the position, if you're getting the K2 R then you won't have to do that as the pedal plate is different. I can't say enough good things about the rig, you'll see what I mean when you unpack and assemble yours.

Still no rig , this virus is doing my head in. We have been all clear for nearly 4 months over here. Eventually other places in the world are going to have to loosen the restrictions because this virus is never going away, all that's happening is the economy is being ruined.

Sorry.... rant over, the world must go on.

Rig arrived, nearly completed building it, just waiting for seat and seat sliders to arrive. Have a chair I can use till it arrives, will finish building after work.

I used velcro straps to keep the cables together then some longer ones to attach them to the rig, it could be tidier, but it keeps them out of the way.

Here is what the rig will look like when finished, just waiting for seat slider to arrive before mounting the seat.

Anybody else have these OMP seat sliders, either I'm stupid or this is the second set of faulty ones. One of the sliders is easy to move, as for the other one it wont budge.

Any ideas please guys?

Sorted it, it was just really stiff. Should get my first go in the new rig tonight.

I found a use seat out of a Junk car was a good fit for my K2 rig the multi hole 1inch square tubing made a simple mounting to my rig. I also found the adjustments of the K2 and the adjustments of a real car seat can give all family members a simulator experience.
