ok i unlocked it earlier tonight. im using my DS3 controller.
i did bronze at monza in a couple of attempts doing it in about 15 mins. this was resonable easy i thought bring on suzuka. anyway after about 1 hour of trying not only have i not done it i havent even done the full two laps yet in any time! not even tried nurburgring yet.
now im not the best at suzuka but after doing monza reasonable easy i expected to at least be able to finish it! so is there any good advice for suzuka? especially from people who did it with a controller :)
 
I tried it with a controller before using my wheel.
My advice: get a wheel.
I tried it a couple time with controller, then switched to wheel and after about 30 minutes of trying with a wheel, it came to me.

General advice: Watch the demonstration. It does help. Turn TCS Off. Turn SRF on if needed. Leave ABS on 1. That's about all I can help with.
 
Using a controller its much harder, but really the only adivce that'll help is practice. As you've beaten Monza pretty quick i would think you're a fairly good driver, so its no point telling you how to drive. Just practice with the X1 and you will get better. ;)

I use a DFGT. I still really struggle and haven't got any more than silver. Very annoying. I just used the perma borrow
