There are two accounts on my PS3 and with one of them I am having to repeat the Vettel Event. This has happened twice now on three seperate events, two on seperate time trials and one drifting event. I am not re-loading any save file AT ALL with this issue. I have already done the Vettel event and even posted a time twice, 1:06.280 the first day and a 1:06.286 just a little while ago and just went back in there and no trophy showing my completion. The money won is gone but will get it again when I do it again. The big bummer is that when I won the car and received it and then came back the next day, it was gone too. So now I am left with having to re-do the time trial and get only the money. My beautiful very fast race car is now gone and I'm afraid that I will not be able to keep my money and again, the worst thing is that I lost the car. I have saved my replays showing my times, taken screenshots showing an incomplete event yet I have completed it. DPR_Kenny is the PSN ID that has lost all this. I also went back and looked at some of the other events that have not been completed that I know I have done. Please help and let me know how I can get the car re-gifted.
 
You don't win the car or the trophy from the Seasonal Event. And the Red Bull should've been in your gift box in the community tab.
 
It did come as a gift, I received it, came back the next day and it was gone. Then I had to do this over. I haven't re-loaded any saved file either, it's just gone. Now I have to do the event again. I knew the car wasn't won, just a gift. My log even shows me getting it. However, the log does not show me completing the event yet I just did it and nothing. I restarted the game just to see this unfold. I will go do this again, re-start and come back and it will be as if I never did it.. Why? No re-load of any save file going on here. It's like it's not saving my game progress with the random seasonals is all.

There is a gold trophy next to the track when you complete it. I know it's not one of the GT5 trophies attached to the gamer ID, it's just the trophy for winning the event.

DPR_Kenny needs the car gifted again. I will send whatever proof of no car and the proof of this issue. I would just like the car please.
 
Just a shot in the dark, but does your Log still show that you received the gift car? I'd check the Delivery Truck to see if the ticket is still in there.

I have 3 accounts on my PS3 and on one of them, the gift was in my inbox, but it didn't show. I just hit "Receive All" anyway and the ticket was in the Delivery Truck screen.

I can't help with the other issue, as I do not know why your game is not saving completed Seasonals.
 
The car was not from running the event, it was a gift ticket from PD starting Sunday.

The event has a glitch we figured out in the other thread, where if you exit the game immediately after completing the Suzuka Red Bull event, the auto-save doesn't happen. You have to do something else afterwards to trigger another save, like buy a car or just change the car you're in, or run a different event. Once another save happens, your Red Bull status gets saved.

As to where your gift car went, I can't help you. Sort your Premium list by date received and it should be at or near the top.
 
I have already looked in the hauler, the items list, everywhere....no car. The log shows It was sent. I received it and now it's gone. Didn't know about this having to go buy a car or something to trigger the saving file deal. That blows really.
 
Guys you don´t need to do a other event,buy cars or whatever to trigger the save.

Just hit the save button in the GT Home screen to save your game state.

I have auto save on, always has been. Just having an issue from time to time. It's just cost me the X1 this time out is all.

As far as I know , Autosave is always on (you can´t set it to off) and I know about this save issue.

I had that happen a few times after tuning a car , practice and leaving the game without hitting the save button.After restarting GT , all my tuning parts on the car were gone aswell as the Credits.

The X1 being gone is a different issue, first I've heard of it, unless you received it, played the Red Bull challenge and exited.

No, even then the receiving-the-car does a save, unless that one has the same glitch as the Time Trial event does. Don't know what to tell you.

And you don't have to buy another car, that's just one of the ways to trigger a save. Buy a car, change cars, run an event, or like raVer said, just hit the save button on Home screen.
 
Regardless of how I make sure I save from now on, I have lost the car I received and that's what sucks.
 
I have had that same issue with parts too btw. I had to do the Jeff Gordon event a few times as well.
 
Auto-save after a seasonal event has been bugged for a while. I have golded the Mercedes SLS TT 3 times (one was due to the global reset).

I don´t know if that works for a gift.

This would be nice :) , so you can receive it a million times but I think this won´t happen.

Or just manually save by hitting the "Save" button...

I've had it happen a few times when I ran an event, finished it, exited, and then quit the game - go back later, and it's like I never ran that event at all. It happened to me on one of Time Trials, too (Ferrari one, I think it was).
 
You're asking us here at GTP as though we're supposed to be able to do something about it aside from giving you suggestions. GTP is not Playstation Network or Polyphony Digital. You should contact PSN first with that issue as it may be something wonky with the account you're using.
 
I had the same problem except with the time trials. I finish and place, get the money and then it's gone like I never played the TT when I load my game again. Probably an issue where the auto save ignores the progress made in those events. Happened to me three times.
 
Did you check to see in your garage if the thumbnail is wrong, it happened to me before with a X2010 it had a thumbnail of a Skyline(wonder why)

I had the 200% bonus, so I had 10,000,000 Cr. from winning this. Now the credits went missing, so I was about to re-race it and manually save it. But the event's over! Ten million 🤬 credits gone down the toilet :(.
 
@turbolefty.....don't recall a question in my post. I did want and got some feedback and questions to my post. Sorry guy if you thought I was asking for a car, from this website that has nothing to do with PDI and Sony. I hope you didn't think I thought you folks here could actually give me a car or whatever. The only thing I have ever expected here is feedback. Thx for the response though.

Oh, that sucks. I've had that happen a couple times on the Time Trial events, too. Seems if you run the event and quit the game quickly after doing so, it somehow "forgets" to save your progress at times. I've gotten in the habit of hitting the "Save" button after any big event, just in case.
