I have raced this one about 200 times and can never get higher than 4th. I've placed p1 in every other redbull jr race and even when I race this one perfectly - no mistakes - I can't get higher than p4.

Is there a trick??? Help!!!

What are you using a DS3 or a wheel ?, and when you said, I race this one perfectly - no mistakes - I can't get higher than p4. Perhaps you settings are the problem and what are your control settings ?.

Edit: There is no trick to it, to me it was not hard to win this race.

Settings, eh? (There are quite a lot!) ;)

First try turning ASM off and TCS to 1 or 0.

These are slowing you through the fast sweeping bends and the last corners.

If you are losing this race, you are not driving the Redbull Junior hard enough.

The Redbull Junior can be pushed quite hard thru a couple of the turns because it has a ton of downforce. Push the Redbull Junior a little harder thru the two right-handers (turns 9 and 10) that lead onto the S/F straight. As well as the sweeping right-hander (turn 4) at the top of the hill about half-way thru the lap.

Also, you can lean on the AI going thru the first hairpin after the S/F straight, and also going thru the tight left-hander just before the 1st tunnel. You don't want to waste time staying behind the AI going thru these corners, so some aggressive driving may be necessary.

Good luck!

As I recall, there are only 2 braking points: First turn, and turn before the tunnel. The rest should be full throttle. And the first turn only requires brief, light, braking.
