Seeing the opponents power?

Hey every one!

I think i read about this in a thread here a long time ago, but I can't find it now. There was something about a way to see the opponents power, i thought it was like replay mode or something... please help me refresh my memory...

now it's just to hope it gets through the gate guarded by our moderators...

i don´t think that you can see your oponents power but you could try doing the replay and then swith cars

You can see your oponents power and weight before a race; but only in Arcade mode. Go take a race in Arcade and see what you would like to see (and find very useful) if it was in GT mode.

I'm not aware of any way of finding out the amount of power the AI races have
the only thing I can think of is just use the a-spec points to work out how difficult the race will be ??

if its too low / too high just restart your ps2 and try again with a better / worst car ??

but the ones in gt mode are mostly tuned

Previewing a race will show one car's power, but I'm not sure if you can see the other ones or not.

yeah when you preview the race before you enter. it will show the name/type & HP of the first car shown in the preview (black screen white text)

but I'm not sure if thats the average HP that the other AI drivers are going to use?
 
thanks for the answers everyone, i don't know if this was what i read about... it's a pity i cant find the thread, but it was months ago!
