Seeker EG6

Does anyone have the settings for the Seeker EG6 as seen in the BMI video?
Can anyone replicate it - if possible, and if so thank you.

I saw it in "touge battle royale" (or something like that) with Keichi Tsuchiya, Orido, etc. and I fell in love with the car. Right now I havve a black 95 Civic Hatch SiR (EG), black with weight: 1&2, 2 NA upgrades, no turbo, chip, semi race exhaust, Semi race suspension etc. I'm only at 2.5% and its around 204-10 HP - (to my horror) as I lost some through redlining.

If not possible, does anyone know what settings could easily transition between a twisting technical circuit, and the more high speed tracks, with few or no mods.
Thanks whoever,:p

I did this, but it'll take me a while to find the settings. Made some other Touge Showdown replicas too(Amuse Fairlady Z, MCR GT-R, etc), if you're interested.

My Civic isn't super-fast, but I have tuned the gearing to make full use of the ~200hp it has. It corners flat and handles very well, at least on the 'Ring(the ultimate touge, right?lol).

I took a cue from Seeker's actual settings(24kg/mm, 20kg/mm springs, front and rear), and used the original suspension to try to get closer to those spring settings. The original suspension is capable of higher spring rates than the full-race suspension, but still not as high as the real Seeker car.

Afterward, it was a matter of tuning the rest of the suspension to match. Full stabilizers on both ends, very little camber, and somewhat low damper settings, since the car is pretty light.

I also spent time with the full customize LSD as well. That was the tricky part for me. Give me a day or two and I should be able to find everything.

i tryed to replicate the red Seeker EG6 back at the days, but i can't remember the settings!
There are the exact same wheels in GT4 as seen on Red Seeker EG6 AFAIK,but dunno what are the one!

anyone wanna fill me in on what the seeker eg is because my garage is filled with 5th gen eg hatches one is a replica of the full race civic (drag car) so whats the seeker?

It's a black hatch from a motoring video. There's a trailer here... http://driftingvideoclips.com/vol23.wmv

The guys here are looking for settings which resembles the car set-up in that video. Keep your eyes open for the eg... hehe... it's shown for only a split second on the trailer...:)

I finally got my PS2 back, and got my settings. You need the Original suspension for this. I can't remember the power parts, but try Stage 1 NA Tune and Race Exhaust. Whatever it was, you'll get ~209hp.

Again, I set up the car at the 'Ring. Turns on a dime for only having S3 tires. It's almost like the rear end has a mind of its own.hehe What really impressed me about the actual Seeker EG6 was how flat the car was while cornering. I made the car as stiff as possible(ex: high stabilizers) to try and imitate that attribute.

Suspension
-Spring Rate: 17.5 / 19.5
-Ride Height: 93 / 98
-Shock Absorbers: 3 / 3
-Camber: 0.0 / 0.0
-Toe: 0 / -1
-Stabilizers: 7 / 7

LSD
-Initial: 20
-Acceleration: 20
-Deceleration: 15

Brake Controller
-Brakes: 3 / 3

Transmission
Final Gear: 5.500
Autoset: 8
Note: Set the Final first, then the Autoset. Otherwise, the transmission will not behave correctly(for what I've set up, anyway).

Awesome! I knew that there had to be someone. Thanks, and let me see the others. Would it be okay if I upped to a Stage 3? And where did you find the specs for the Seeker?

PS, The seeker is toward the end.

Do you mean a Stage 3 NA Tune? If so, that is not a good idea with my setup. I tried seeing how this car would act with a Stage 1 Turbo, and with just 22xhp(and lots more torque than an NA setup) there was too much torque-steer and wheelspin. That's how the car behaved on S3 tires, anyway. If you used race tires, it shouldn't be so bad. However, the suspension settings will need work in order to compensate for the added grip.

And where did you find the specs for the Seeker?
It was in a Touge Showdown video like what you saw. However, I have seen two appearances by Seeker, one with a red EG and one black. I can't remember which video I saw it in. The only thing I could make out were the spring rates, which were 20kg/mm up front, and 24kg/mm in the rear. Like I said, the game doesn't let you go up that high, so I just improvised.

Other specs on the Seeker car include a B18 swap from an Integra, and it's got about 200hp. It's not exactly a powerhouse, but the light weight makes it fast. It murdered a turbo RX-8(base model, not the higher powered one) by a solid 3-4 carlengths in one of the videos.

How then, would I adapt the settings to retain those characteristics even with more horsepower?
Right now I have a 209+ HP eg6 with NA S2 upgrade.

Ive raced and won the civic cup, FF, and sunday cup, and I don't want to change the tires on it (N3's I think, they are sports) until I know that I've done every race I can in its current state.

I don't know. I don't use race tires on my setups, so I can't really tell you what to do. I've just never tried it. <shrugs>

I would guess that maybe softer springs would be needed. The race tires will offer more grip, so the extra sensitivity frome the high spring rates would not be needed.

If you like close and challenging races, you can probably do some of the Easy difficulty tarmac rallies. You'd be up against cars with similar power/weights, and you could probably get some decent A-Spec points too.

Any chance of seeing the MCR R34 settings please?

BTW their new car has just been revealed, their take on the Nismo Z Tune
