Selected clean online race replays

It all started when I wanted to test the video capture function of my iPhone. I recorded some of the online race replays and was surprised that the quality wasn't that bad. Then I did a side-by-side comparison using my 10 million pixel digital camera - which turned out to be quite disappointing, actually.

Anyway, here I share with you some of the rather exciting races I had... (not that I win frequently, but then I only saved those which I did pass the checkered flag first, which is something I regret though. Had some really nice races not saved)


1. Acura NSX RM on Rome. A very hard fight and one which was won by luck. One of the best online races I had. Started from the back of the grid.

2. Acura NSX RM on Tokyo R246. I think it was hosted by the same group as above though run on a different date.

3. Acura NSX RM on Suzuka. Started from last position and ended up first.

4. Elise 111R RM on Deep Forest Raceway. Started from the back of the grid and eventually overtook 14 opponents. Rare full house race. I did cut the corner before the short tunnel as it was the practice of that particular room I was in.

5. Elise 111R stock on Grand Valley Raceway. Started from the back of the grid. Only lap 1 recorded showing how I was being knocked from all sides. Again by luck I didn't spin out (as I was literally "sandwiched") and overtook the remaining cars as they were busy bumping each other.

6. Elise 111R dogfight in London.

7. My initial video recorded by my iPhone. Was driving my Nissan GTR GT500 Stealth Model on Rome in an online race. There really isn't any noticeable difference of quality between this video and the others which I recorded using my camera. The only thing that fails to match its camera counterpart is the sound capturing ability.

Nice replays! Loved the F40 event. So much wished there were manufacturer races organised by PD, like what GT5P did (an example being the F2007 online races on London). Or they could have improved the lobby interface so that you can search the rooms that stipulate the models of cars that can be used. It could have been a simple task on the developer's part but sigh......what an oversight.
