Hello :) I currently use a G27 and it's just not doing it for me... It's fun and all but it's just not as fun as I want it to be. I had a go on the G29 (G920?) at Gamescom and it's literally no different. I want to upgrade to something like a Thrustmaster but no idea what I want from them as their prices vary wildly between product. I'm thinking of selling the G27 and saving a bit to fund an upgrade. Also - would I be paying any taxes on selling the G27? I live in the UK. This tax website I found says I'm on the borderline of the next tax band and the money from this would put me over. would I start paying taxes from doing that? Not too sure how it works. And what's a good Thrustmaster system for about £500? I honestly don't have the slightest clue of where to start with their range lol

For your £500 best bundle would be a new or used T500rs. It have the best pedals that thrustmaster have to offer and the wheel have strong force feedback.
Also it is Ps3/Ps4/Pc compatible and you can add extra stuff like other rims, h-shifter, handbrake, revlights.
Or a T300 base + T3PA Pro pedals.
Maybe you will find a good offer in your country.

A Logitech wheel would be wasted money.

Alternative maybe this Fanatec Bundle, also great hardware but no clutch pedal.

T500rs is old news now. T300rs ferrari integral is the best choice if you can not afford a Fanatec csl elite

I agree with the T300 integral and I would also suggest T300 GT edition. But for 500 pounds you could also go for a Fanatec CSL elite with the 2 pedalset. You can upgrade to the optional loadcell brake down the line.

If you try real hard, you can find new t300rs for $250ish. Thats the original w/2pedals, but the options available nowadays as far as what ricmotech offers for the entire line really make it a matter of how much of a budget u have, when you want to spend that money and how much adjustability you want. I started with g series, to t300 and now have a csl elite w/ lc. I would street fight if someone said i couldn't have my fanatec anymore and wish i could of got it sooner.

30cm steering wheel with alcantara....... Way better than the standard 28cm hard rubber had all of them

Presumably you are referring to income tax? This is only payable on earned income. Selling a G27 will not attract income tax - you probably paid more for it new in any case and are now selling it secondhand for a loss.
