We know that PD have some license for some Mclaren cars, and Kazunori has a habit of adding historical and notable cars to the GT franchise, so what would be the chances of him, getting the Ayrton Senna's MP4/4 into the game?
The car was pure machine, no aids, the sound and power was amazing, and is one of the most succesful F1 cars ever. I would rather have that in game, then the Ferrari F1 cars.
The year Kazunori was at Godwood, he chose the Jaguar Le-mans car(forgot the name) to model it. Fair enough, it was a good choice, but i really think that Mclaren deserves to be in a GT game, because i just want to drive it.

Does any other game developer, hold rights to the car? Would Mclaren or Honda allow it?
*Someone also would probably need to drive it, to give feedback on how it handles.

It was in GT3. And despite being given a "code name" and having fake liveries, it was removed for GT4. There's a reason for that.

The chances of getting a new Mclaren are even more remote. Mclaren doesn't own the license to their F1 cars, the FOM does.

PS: Prost's MP4/4 scored more points than Senna's, but nobody wants his?

Ah, so its the FOM. I see. The reason i say Senna is because of the impact he had on F1, It's the same car anyway.

But it's a car who gave a driver, who embodied the spirit of racing a world championship. I wonder if Kaz has ever considered it.

Ayrton Senna won the championship.

The issue is not whether McLaren or Honda would allow it (they probably wouldn't object) but whether this little guy pictured below allows it.
He owns the rights and therefor it probably won't happen unless a huge cheque is coming his way.

You mad bro? Senna won the championship in 1988 with the MP4/4

Prost scored 105 points to Senna's 94. Senna won the world championship because a driver's worst 5 results were discarded - Senna dropped a disqualification, a retirement, a 10th, a 6th and a 4th, losing 4 points for a total of 90 while Prost dropped two retirements and three second place finishes, losing 18 points for a total of 87.

So both statements are true - Prost's MP4/4 scored more points but Senna's won the title.

I wouldn't like to be in Prost's place... Being 11 points ahead and losing a championship is tragedy.

More classic race cars in general would be greatly appreciated. Busting out the GT3 unlicensed F1s would be my first priority, but I think current copyright laws are in the way (aside from Eccelstone). I like the Formula GT, so even a generic Formula car from each era would work for me. As long as it drove right.

Maybe if Prost died on track people would care. The interviews I've heard from Prost don't help his case in my eyes. I know he's French, but come on. He's just so pompous. Maybe its just a humor I don't get.

The FOM license somehow is different with McLaren as well. As there is a PC simulator coming that has license to all McLaren F1 car's from introduction to the 2012 car.

Then how did they get the Ferrari F1 cars then? When F1 2010 had it.(GT5 is the F10). When looking at historical importance, the mclaren had the senna name with its first championship, not too mention, being one of prettiest cars to grace the F1 stage.

One school of thought thinks lil' ole Bernie bows down to Ferrari and gives them lots of money - FIA stands for Ferrari International Assistance apparently. So maybe thats one reason why there are Ferrari F1s in GT5...and all for the good of that! I'd like a Sauber F1, a 2007 BMW F1 and a 2001 Jaguar F1 to compliment the LMS race cars...what a garage!!!! (Yes, off topic, but the thought was just too good!)

That's because Ferrari owns the rights or license to their F1 cars as opposed to all other F1 teams, Codemasters probably got most other F1 cars via Bernie and the Ferraris via Ferrari.
Don't ask me why this privilege is exclusively granted to Ferrari, maybe that was arranged long before the current rights were negotiated (with Ferrari being the oldest team and perhaps therefor still abiding or insisting on the old pre-Bernie rules).

As an insider at mclaren (work at a company whos name I won't mention who work closely with mclaren and have spent some time up at mclaren ) n never it won't be allowed many reasons why. Trust me I have asked about many cars such as this and the 2008 car that drove lewis to the world championship but they will not make in to a video game.

You can ask any questions you wish, thoose I don't know the answers too I attempt to find out about. But can't answer many at the moment as I'm off on holiday :)

Well he didnt score "more" points technically did he? As those results were basically DSQ'd. So they got excluded, thus meaning he scored less.

Yes he did. They just weren't counted towards the Drivers' Championship - that's just how it was - while the Constructors' Championship was won by McLaren with 199pts, split 105pt to Prost and 94pt to Senna...

Because they wanted to?

We have no proof as to exactly why they were removed, but I know for sure, it wasn't FOM. FOM only has the right to current F1 cars, any car that's over 1 year old is considered old, and can be licensed, I believe. Even if I was wrong there, the cars in GT3 were mockups, and nothing more, FOM wouldn't have the right to remove the cars, as they were not badged as F1 cars, instead with different liveries and different names.

Strange way to do the points, I never knew that about Senna/Prost. It makes me feel dirty, for some strange reason.
