Question here is pretty much to the point; is there a third-party sensor bar that functions better than the POS NIntendo gives you? Because I'm about an inch or two away from snapping that damn thing in half. I either have to way the controller around like an effing moron, or I have to stand up just to aim with the bow and arrow (or whatever other quest item I'm using that requires a motion of some sort). I haven't tried it on top of my TV yet, but even if that does work "better" I still want to know if there's a sensor bar that has greater range and detection....because this isn't working out very well for me. :irked:

Nifty idea is nifty. :D

I did however place the bar on the top of my TV and it functions better that way, but I'll keep this in mind for sure. Why don't they just upgrade the damn thing (lengthen it) instead of giving you this crap with an eleventy million foot long cord? :p

Nintendo should have utilised proper motion control like the Sixasis on PS3, not just an infra-red sensor bar. It is unreliable and out of date.

They should have, yes, but you forget Nintendo wanted to keep this as inexpensive as possible while still offering bang for the buck. See that ATi logo that's engraved onto the right side of the Wii? Yeah, I think Nintendo had a talk with them during the R600 series of their video cards. :p

Too geeky? Yeah, too geeky.

In any case I do wish Nintendo would release a console that would outpower both whatever Sony and Microsoft plan on outputting next, if only to shut everyone else up, but then the market would become saturated and a possible crash would probably be eminently awaiting.
