I can start:
First I tought best drifter on Race car Drift Trial is Vertigo but no, I noticed that Toyota7 makes mutch easyer scores and got better handling.
My current score is 21 699 and I know I can do almost 23k 👍

I just want PD to limit the cars for TT and DT. It just irritates me to see detuned Chapparal and Speed in those events. And separate leaderboards for Wheel/Controller users.

The Vertigo did up my score to the 16k's over the RX-7 TC (14K). I think with more practice, I can get it to 18k - 19k. I'll give the Toyota 7 a run tonight.

I put mine Toyota7 on share
I did with it 22591 pts easily...gonna hit over 23k tomorrow

I didn't play too much over the weekend, but I got over 11K on the dirt track with the Special, so I thought that was pretty cool. I expected it to be difficult to reach 10k!

Hmm, yep good idea, I'm a good spontaneous drifter (drifting in race cars during a race t oshow off, when I'm first, because its fun), but I'm terrible in the sector drifts, can hardly get 1000 points most of the time.

I think for the next TT/DT, which'll likely be almost exactly a week after this post, start this thread right at the start, and hopefully the other normal TT/DT thread will just be the TT thread, I think they deserve their own seperate discussions. Good idea

I used to be the same way, but car setup is very important in drifting. So, with the right setup I've been able to hold the drifts better and take better lines at the same time. I still have issues with entry. On sectors with a little bit of a straight before the turn, I lose out on points, as I start my drifts close to the turn start. Even with this limitation, I'm still able to get within the top 1,000 on most drift events.

Thank you for thinking this was a good idea, much appreciated. There are so few posts regarding drift trials there, so having our own thread makes it easier for us to trade info on setups and strategies without wading through so many time trial posts.

Here is my Toyota7 tune :

Tyres are Front CH and rear SM.
My current score with that tune is 24386pts.
And Max speed is km\h...

Ah, so that was my problem. I thought it was the transmission. I didn't even check the tires! LOL When I borrowed it last night, I was having trouble getting it to stay in drift... it kept straightening out on me. I was only getting 13,xxx points on each completed pass. Sports Medium tires on the back... how in the world are you pulling that off??? Like I said in my email yesterday, I still have a lot to learn. I'm finally getting an idea of why the car moves forward into the wall or slides out away from the wall.

I have been practicing a lot, trying to use the E-brake method, but not with much luck. Reverse entry? Nope, not yet! LOL I saved your video, so I could go back and watch what you do, but I can't replicate it in any way. I'm pretty happy with my 18k score, though. Not my favorite track or car choice for my style, but I did ok with it.
