General Race Rules
Microphones
Driving
- Mics will be allowed.
- Mics are expected to be kept clear as much as possible and used only for race talk.
Pit Road/Pit Expectations
- Drivers are expected to race cleanly and fairly against all competitors.
- Intentional wrecking and/or inappropriate behavior may result in race suspension.
Race Starts/Restarts
- Clean entry is expected. If you have a mic, it would be courteous to announce you are pitting if it may affect somebody in your vicinity.
- Clean pit exit will be expected. Do not pull straight on to the track directly after exiting pit road. Check your surrounding.
Cautions
- Pace speed will be 60mph/96kph
- Race start will be double file.
- Start point will be the caution lights on the right hand side fence coming out of turn number 4. The leader must go at this point.
- You are never allowed to go to the inside of the car in front of you until after the start/finish line.
- You are allowed to go to the outside of the car in front of you before the start/finish line.
- You are not allowed to pass the leader before the start/finish line.
Restarts
- A caution is when 2 or more cars come in contact resulting in one or more car coming to a complete stop or spinning around.
- When a caution is called, you keep racing until you cross the start/finish line. Line up single file according to your position when crossing the line. NOTE: The leader may be across the line before a caution is called. Even though you may cross after the caution is called, you keep racing with the leader until you cross it again. (Not as complicated as it sounds)
- Pit road will be opened when everybody has finished racing back to the line. You may pit if you want, but may lose spots for the next restart. If last place does not pit while everybody else does, he will gain the lead for the restart.
- Restarts will follow a caution and will be single file.
- Green flag will fly when the leader gets to the caution lights out of turn 4.
