after two months of designing, tinkering, replacing parts, testing and programing. i have finally finished my project. and you will be amazed as how easy and inexpensive it was to make. especially proud of the fact that it was all done on basically nuts, bolts, washer. and parts you can find easily at your local hardware store. buttons and board on the other hand, i had to order online. ( much cheaper.)

plus i will be building a smaller version with fewer buttons for a giveaway soon. so be sure to check out the whole video to find out what you need to do to enter for a chance to win.

here you go
video may still be processing so video quality might not be up to par yet.
please share, like comment. and/or give me some insight if any thanks.

I like the build, looks great! I'd like to do a sequential shifter, but it seems with Project Cars you can't have dual inputs for up/down shifting... paddles and sequential. Maybe I'm wrong.

You are correct, the only way to correct this would be to have primary and secondary inputs. But that would be up-to the developer. Otherwise we are stuck with going into options and changing it. Luckily for me I don't like using the shift paddles.

There is software options as well. Don't remember the name right now but you assign for example paddles and seq to keyboard letters( az for example) and then in game have the a, z assigned to shifting.
Then when you press either paddles or seq it presses the assigned letter and you have the same effect. Thats how I have multiple inputs and works like a charm

Is this option available on PS4? Or is it PC only

pc only obviously. for ps4 you have to connect the shidter cables to both shifters switches to work at with either press.

If you could build this then more stable rig should be next.

i agree, this rig isnt going to hold up much longer with this shifter.
i am debating whether to go with mdf setup or all metal fab. not sure yet.
i like things hidden so might go with a mdf setup.
