Serious problem with my GT5 need help badly

Ive been playing the game for a week now and before anyone asks im running ver 1.03 im only level 15 and have about a dozen cars.

My game has decided to start freezing towards the end of every first lap that i do no matter what the car or the race. This is rather annoying as i love the game alot. Could anyone please offer some advice as to how this could be resolved. I fear it may be a bug issue because the disk like all my others are well looked after and there isnt a scratch on it.

If there is no resolution could some1 please tell me how to delete the game from my ps3 hard drive because im willing to do anything (even start again) just to be racing

This is a bit of a wild shot, but if youre using custom music, reset it to the default music?

@ Bangai-O i cannot begin to thank you enough for your advice. Was using custom music and just defaulted it and the game is running great. Had a think back and it has been doing it since i applied it. Happy to be racing again 10 out of 10 for the quick response. Thanks again

Yeah first try to erase your music playlist if yoiu got one, 2nd, export all your pics to your ps3 album, then I would erase the game data of GT5 (game data not the save game), clear cache (can find it on network), then if it dont work pray XD.

Not the first time I've heard of this music problem, I think this should be stickied.

Glad to have helped. I think its to do with the game searching for a playlist/music that has been deleted, but just freaks out when it can't find it.
