i know it was in screenshots, but i thought PD was dicking around with us...until i won it... :( redline of 600rpm IF that, top speed, 24mph going downhill from the start of Citta d'Aria away from the start line (it doesn't have enough power to climb up the first stretch of Citta)

yeah... collector´s item... personally, i hate slow cars... the vitz in gt3, the midget in gt2, and oh, those ****** demios from the first gt... i mean, seriously cars with less than 100HP, in a racing game? i know some like to drive those piece of crap, but i think manufactors like daihatsu are totally useless in a racing game... i know many will not agree with me... but don´t you get mad to know that the prize for a gold S license is a ford model T?

I totally agree fasj6418. Unless they have real tuning potential or are significan (KPGC10 skyline and the price bluebirds etc etc).

Personally, I love the slow cars. They make the game more fun and enjoyable. They also give you a good sense of how good the faster super cars are.👍

I think it is pretty cool. Been looking forward to driving it since I first saw it. It will be a nice contrast to the R34s and RUFs I prefer.

:)

That guy driving it doesn't seem to be having fun. :(

INteresting. This will probably not be my fav though.

And the Vitz is not a slow car when it is tuned... unless you compare it too a full out race car or something...

Well, I'm not going to say that I prefer faster cars than slower ones, but I like slower machines for different reasons. Like when I played GT2, I loved the Toyota 2000GT and the Mini Cooper Works Car. GT is about racing with... whatever you got. Besides, we started off with slower machines and worked our way up. I think of this more as racing history. Maybe since I respect a deeper variety of automobiles, I'm able to not be concerned with racing slow machinery.

I just wouldn't call it a joke.

I want to know if that mercedes benz vehicle that looks as if it were a sewing machine made it in..

He fell asleep after the turn 3.

lmao. yeah, he looks a little narcoleptic....

my ass would be killing me too much to fall asleep in that stiff heap.

its still the roots though.....so respect it. lol.

I hate the way PD keeps putting these slow Kei cars in GT games. This is a historic car though, so I think it's pretty cool. BTW, does anyone know what that car is?

Remember that GT is a franchise built around driving, not racing.

PD can do whatever the heck they darned well want. Like you wouldn't buy the next GT. :yuck:

That's the '86 Daimler Motor Carriage. That's 1886.. hehe.

I wonder how many tracks it simply cannot drive? There are some big hills on the Nürburgring, Seattle, etc.

Egghead
haha, i want that thing and drive it on seattle... Wouch! :)
Down the drop of course... Wonder how the brakes are on that thing :D

As someone else said - Bring them on - The more the merrier !...

Go PD !...

How ironic that people complain about the Kei cars.. and I'm looking forward to having FR ones now. Its fun to push small cars to the limits.

That car is history, you must remember that. It may not be fast, but it may open your eyes up to how much we have developed cars.

The Nissan March was one of the better cars in GT4 Prolouge, I expect it to be better when tuning is an option.

I just like the fact that PD is balancing out the cars. GT3 was weighted towards Japanese street cars and race cars, GT2 was more normal cars. Prolouge was alot of little "Kei" cars.

GT4 seems to be a mix of race cars and street cars from many eras and countries. Old or new, ricer or german cars, muscle cars or trucks, lemans or DTM, JGTC or Rally, classic or concept, old school or new school...there seems to be a real spread now in GT4. That right there is the collest thing. I don't want the GT series skewed in any one direction.

In the following picture, is the motor carriage drifting?

https://www.gtplanet.net/gallery/gt4hr/1104694387921o

I think they just parked it on the corner and turned the wheels to make it appear like it's drifting. The thing can only do 26mph. Downhill. I can do better than that on my bicycle.

The trick would be to touch up the pic in Photoshop a bit.. add in tire smoke, motion-blur, etc.. make it look like it's doing about 120.. hehe.

:) If you could really get that thing to drift, the tyres would probably get shredded on the first drift.

Or the wheels would splinter to pieces - if it could get that kinda momentum built up. ^^;

Omologato
What all mods, if any at all, can be done to this vehicle?
Enkei rims made of either Oak, Maple, Cherry, or even Balsa wood for ultra light weight, reducing unsprung mass.:)

I don't see the point of it, we all know it exists, we all know it's slow - why would we want to drive it?
