If your GT5 is still having issues connecting tithe server and taking forever this is how you fix that!
1. Make sure you've downloaded all the required updates.
2. In your router/modem make sure you change your DNS configuration numbers to the google DNS. In one box type
8.8.8.8 and the other 8.8.4.4
3. Restart the modem/router and re try your game.
This seemed to work for me and some friends now if it works for you also post it so we know!!
