After updating tonight, and following the resume procedure found at http://www.gran-turismo.com/en/gt5p/news/d1985.html Prologue now tells me so set the date and time. My PS3s date and time are set correctly, the clock in Prologue is correct, but it claims it's the 3rd of March 2008, and not the 27th as it is.

Browsed through the game manual, and I can't seem to find any settings related to time and date.

Haven't found anything on line either - Neither here, nor Google..

Is it just me being a blind idiot that missed the most obvious of all ?...

Its in PS3 "System Settings" under "Time and Date" from memory.

I'm in Australia and it says in the prologue online manual that the bit up the top of home screen shows you weather etc from your local Area.

Is there anyway to get that display of the globe to move a bit to incluse Australia or is it fixed???? I couldnt find any way to get it to change.

It's on the settings of time and hour in the definitions of the PS3.

As said in first post - The PS3s date and time are indeed set correctly - It's Prologue that comes up with a Messagebox telling me time and date are off.

Yeah it's under system settings I think. I had a little trouble finding it but can't remember now exactly where it was.

I think even if you are one second out it does this. Its probably because of the flashy clock thing. I may be wrong but I think it wants your time synchronised through the net for some strange reason.

The 3 is the month. The correct day of the month is underlined but not very clearly.

Amused2death answer . Use internet is the easiest way. I thought my system time to be correct but after using theis option to set the systems time and date I haven't encountered the problem anymore.

I remember the previous incarnations of GT to count the days played every event or license test took one day. This doesn't seem to be the case anymore.

and the 3 is indeed march

British summer time started here last weekend and when I corrected the PS3 clcok I started to see the error that you guys are seeing.

With the time CORRECTLY set to the local time adjusted for BST GT5 throws up the error.

If I set the clock via internet option then the clock is set to the INCORRECT time (I.E. GMT without BST adjustment) and GT5 stops complaining.

Looks like the sony NTP time server has not been corrected for british summer time. It is likely that the same is true for other time zones as well.

Personally the error message was so annoying I set the clock back to the wrong time and will just live with all the time stamps beign wrong.

Mine is working fine like this.

Date and time settings ->
Set via Internet
GMT +00.00 London
Daylight saving
