I tried to find the old SETI@Home thread and resurrect it but I couldn't find it anywhere. Anyway, for the past few days I have not been able to connect and send my data or get any new data. Has anyone else had this problem or is it just something at my end?

Ah, it was in the rumble strip. That would be why I could not find it. I would have preffered it if you could help me with my query though.

Sure,

I simply did a keyword search for SETI@Home. Here are the results:
https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/search.php?searchid=6900

From the search result it is evident that there have been several threads on the subject, but the one listed was the most popular.

As far as your question goes, I have not personally experienced what you are describing.

I haven't personally had any problems sending results into the SETI servers in the last week or so. I download multiple units at a time to avoid having to connect after each individual unit is done analyzing. Most likely, there could be something wrong with the server distributing the workunits or something else. Berkley hasn't exactly bothered to keep the SETI site running in top form because they are currently testing SETI 2.

Speaking of which, DQuaN, you can still join the team if you wish to. If you need help on how to join, send me a PM.

Well, its working again now. Silly me didn't think to check on their website. How do you down load mutiple packets? I have sent you a PM about joining the team but you have not repied. How do I join?

Odd. I never received a PM from you. Well if you go to the team page here, and then hit join at the top of the page, a screen looking like the attached image will pop up and you will be able to enter your email and password you used to sign up with. Then, you should be apart of the team.

As for downloading multiple packets at a time, check out this little program that I currently use. It basically downloads the workunits by tricking SETI into thinking it is done with a unit.

SETI Monitor

However, upon visiting the SETI Project page, I have noticed that a new client based upon the BIONIC project has been released and the project is slowly transitioning to this new version of SETI. I'll be updating the main thread shortly after I upgrade to the client to test it. Right now though, I am unsure as to whether I will or not until I read further on it.

Hmm, is it possible to be in more than 1 group? Currently I'm in the LinuxQuestions group. Good ol' Linux, at least you can find log files with THAT! Windows, now don't make me get started with THAT!

Unfortunately, it isn't with a single account. However, with two accounts you could be.
