Has anyone got any good settings for the Benz E55 AMG? I just bought one and I found out that the stock suspension is a bit soft, but after I put on Racing suspension, it seems a bit harder but the turning didnt really improve a lot, my lap time was mostly the same. This is my favourite euro sport-touring car :dopey:, I like the M5 too, but it just seems to be in a different level from the rs6, S-type R and Amg's.

Anyways right now my tunings on the car is:
stage 2 lightweight
TCS:3
Oil Change
Stock Transmission (It goes really good, perfect partner for the 5.5L Kompressor Engine)
Stock Engine

Thanks for any tips and settings 👍

what sort of setting do you want? maybe if you specified then people might be more willing to give out settings. i don't have any settings for this car though, i just thought i would give some advice.

Hey I like this car! ;) Well I never actually tried to tune it, but I have had plenty of experience with it trying to test it up against the M5. Hopefully my advice can help.

Well the E55 AMG feels really heavy and understeers alot! Looking at your settings.. You definatly wanna drop the most weight you can with this heavy sedan. Go for stage 3. Get rid of the TCS NOW or any other driving assists! That is only slowing you down. Learn how to work the throttle gently not to spin out.

Heres what I can recommend.. First get yourself some racing tires. As sticky as you can afford ;) Drop the car as low as possible with your racing suspension, and stiffen up the springs to a point where you don't really see any body lean in any direction. Play around with the camber settings till you actually see the car is easier to turn. I would bias the brakes just a bit to the rear as well to help point the car in the right direction if you need to adjust the rear end in case of understeer. Finally, all I can recommend for now is to go for a practice run with tire wear activated and watch which tires will wear out quicker. If the fronts go first, then transfer some weight to the back. If the rears go first which they probably will, I would still transfer some weight to the rear since that car seems front heavy with it's chunky V8.. Oh and last but not least, try to read, understand, and experiment with the descriptions the game developers give for each setting. I know they aren't the easiest to understand, so thats why we have a section in this forum that explains them all.. Good luck

thanks 4dsc for these tips, Im going to try them all expect for the racing tire advice since I want the car to keep a more realistic feel to it, and not be like arcade handling. Thanks :)

Heh, all right, but I doubt you could get arcade handeling out of that car no matter what you do
