after checking out "youtube" ive seen FGT's with 230's mph....currently only get 215mph out of her....need some help on gettin faster...currently sittin at a 5:13.??? something at the Ring...help me get FASTER PLZ:)

Think that is made in Arcade mode. That means that you can lighten the car, and also let it have more hp (IIRC: I don´t use Arcademode myself, so this is hearsay!). And if I´m not mistaken, I think you can put R5 tyres on as well. Not entirely sure about that last bit though.

sorry bro....i dont use arcade mode...check out youtube i have my TS020 doing a 5:13.??? look up profile FastFerrari...my F1 is right there but i lack top end...when i get batteries ill post my new times with the F1 and TS020

I think Team666 was refering to the videos where you have seen 230mph FGT's having been made in arcade mode.

In my experience the only way to reach even 220mph in GT mode is drafting/slipstreaming another car - the problem being that you just cannot do much tuning to the FGT other than adjusting the downforce / gearing / suspension, and no amount of tweaking these settings will increase the top end speed unless you are currently bouncing off the rev limiter.

Thing is, it is entirely possible to do 230mph in the FGT, but only at the Testcourse. The setup used is completely rubbish on any other track.

I´m not surprised by the TS020 at all. Frankly because it has greater possibilties than the FGT.

With reduced aero, zero toe angle, a high, soft suspension and a VERY good draft, I was only able to hit ~230mph in the Sarthe1 race of Formula GT. It's not designed to have an uberhigh top speed, but to get to ~200mph VERY quickly. It's also meant to handle very well at speed, thanks to a precisely-engineered ultralight chassis and powerful downforce elements.

If you're wanting to take the FGT to the Nürburgring, you should start with a suspension that at maximum height, with a very soft spring ratio. Shocks should be an afterthought, as well as stabilizers. Maximum aero would help keep you planted at speed, as well as minimizing your jumps when you crest certain hills. Sub-5min laps have already been done, so it IS possible.

my best lap in a GT ONE is 1:43:xxx and there is much room for improvement

I,ll post my settings this afternoon

Edit/reaction to post below: hmmmm that wasn,t the brightest type o offcourse i meant 5:43:xxx
