shaggadelic baby!!!
I have found that the gtr is easy to drift with the right settings but dont actually know the settings for this particular model. If you can help me out with the proper settings than can you post on this thread. What ever the turn out on the thread every quote or reply will be greatly appreciated. HOPE TO GET GOOD RESULTS I own a nissan skyline gtr '94 model if it helps CHEERS :ouch: 👍

First, there is no R33 GT-R '94. The only '94 Skyline is the R32 GT-R V-SpecII and the R33 lineup begins from '95.

Give us the proper model and you'll be way more likely to get an answer. Also, are you asking for drift settings or grip settings? If for drift, this is in the wrong place and would do better in the Drift section.

R33 GT-R came out at '95 actually, so are you sure that it's not R32? Anyway, easiest way to make GT-R drift is to avoid installing VCD and FC LSD, that ruin the well-modelled work of Nissan's own ATTESA/Super Hicas drivetrain. Thus, add some power (about 500ish bhp is good), sports tyres (Normal tyres are too weak), and wing, and with some proper suspension tuning ( not too stiff or ridiculous cambers or toe).

oh, and proper place for asking drift setups is drift settings depot at the drifting-subforum :dopey:

damn, oyu got here first big G :ouch:

sorry guys but thanks for the info though. Ill go to the drift depot and sorry about the miss info about the ftr i actually have a '95 model 👍 :indiff:

There are a couple of us that happen to know a lot more about these cars than the average GTP "OMG theyre all similar" people. Those ones just don't know what they're talking about but just try to look cool.

In short, the R32 is a bit lighter, yet lower powered. Its handling is biased more towards understeer (neutral when driven correctly though) whereas the R33 is eager to step the tail out during acceleration, aided by the better low end torque compared to the slightly higher revving nature of the R32 engine. The same name, two entirely different cars.

I don't think I'm eligible to saying anything about the lap time differences. :p

Too right you're not allowed to mention lap times ;)

But yes, that's a good summary - naturally, these differences are there on a smaller scale in the different models within each generation, such as the V-SpecII R32 compared to the GT-R32 N1, and so on.

I see how it is...:yuck:

That isnt true, I didnt know what the cut off year was for a R32 to the R33. I said that because if it was still an R32 than one year will not drastically change it.

And BTW, i didnt say that to look cool, i've got enough friends around here, so i dont care about popularity, but if your that concerned than go right ahead.

Now lets get back to the topic.

You should have done, because Posts #2 and 3 tell you.

How do you know? It might have undergone a complete and utter reconstruction in that year - which, as it happens, it did.

Greycap didn't mention your name, or quote you - what makes you think he was referring to you, and take offence?

The only sides I take are informed advice over ignorant comments, useful elaboration over time-wasting arguments, and good grammar over lazy omissions. So, in this case, it seems so.

I thought you wanted to get back on topic?

He was wrong, we told him the truth after which he got ballistic as he knew he was wrong and could hardly admit it, and then flamed us? And he won? There goes your creditability out of the window. I hate to say this but some of (definitely not all) the drift people seem to support each other no matter what. Even if it means things like this.

We apologize to our new friend -sladey121- (I meant the
gentlemen's fight)
And sladey121 you are always welcome in GTP.👍
