Hi.

There's been a lot of conflict about this issue about Porsche not being in GT. So well, i'm here to settle this for once and for all.

Let's say, you have Porsche. But you don't have Ferrari. Wouldn't you make a huge argument about it too?

So, here's a saying -

Appreciate what you have! Don't think about what you don't have!

If we had Porches then there would be complaining there are no Bentleys...

But I have several Porsches in GT5 - they just have RUF badges on them :)


(cue apocalyptic levels of pedantry in 5,4,3,2...)
 
The game needs a Premium RUF, that's all I can say.
 
Because people that can't drive or are new to the game would say "look a porsche that should be easy to drive!" then creates thread on how bad a car it is to drive (wonderful IMO)
 
As much as I would love to have a few Porsches sitting in my garage (both in GT and actual) I do agree with you OP. I rarely remember that there are none until someone online mentions it.
 
Oh, look, over there! Another thread telling people to not care about GT's flaws! (gets excited)

I understand it's not PD's fault per se Porsche's aren't in GT games, but I'll ask the dirty question: If FM and NFS can (and do) manage to buy licenses that disallow any other game from having certain cars, why doesn't PD?
 
Sony go buy a frigging sub-license and get Porsche for GT6!

lol...cause PD doesnt need to low blow like EA. they will come out on top regardless. PD will manage to get the licenses eventually.

and i agree with you, gt5 is spectacular still....but i also agree that they should have leveled with the Porsche fans and made them a couple premium RUFs

Yea i second that. Standard ruf is enough but if there's a premium version i am gonna rank it my second favourite car after x2010 s.vettel
