Hey Guys, i was just having some fun on GT5, and i Recently purchased The Seven Fireblade, I have never been so Amazed at its REVERSE SPEED, nearly hitting 80Mph(78 to be precise) along the flats, like is this a Bug, or has anyone else found this

Ha, my GTbyCitroën Concept can beat your little Caterham in reverse easily!!!

190 mph in reverse!!!!
 
My 2D does 100mph in reverse and the X1 does 112mph

It has no transmission therfore it can go the same in forward or reverse :)

The GT by Citroen has no gears, a CVT transmission?? I haven't purchased it yet, kind of glad now I guess..

Agreed OP, the "Fireblade" is A LOT of fun !! :)
 
I won that Caterham car yesterday. In a B spec race I think. Looks like a fun car to drive. Waiting for my friend to catch up to me in levels so he can use the same cars as me and then we can really have fun online ha. I'm tired of gifting him all my cars :grumpy:

It's just the Concept that has no tranny.
 
I had my Formula Gt doing over 150 backwards yesterday. The trouble was, about 2 seconds earlier it was doing 200 mph forwards.

besides, the Race Car is for free on dream car B-spec which I found out the hard way
 
Tesla Roadster can go at a fair speed backwards, don't know the exact figure though, you should try it out
 
Anyone played inverted kart races just for fun ?

The Seven Fireblade uses a Honda Fireblade engine. This being a motorcycle engine, it has a sequential 6 speed gearbox with no reverse. When used in kit cars or specials, such as the Seven, there is a special mechanism that allows you to use 1st gear for reverse. The fireblade motorcycle does go over 80mph in first gear, but I would expect the final ratio in the Seven to lower the gearing compared to the motorcycle, hence a top speed of less than 80mph in reverse.

At same speed than frontward !

Sometimes laughing make people sick you know, winning a race backward when everyone still drive frontward is a part of it :D

My vettel does 118 in reverse.

My friend duped me his Citroen GT concept (in chrome, it looks (even more) like a spaceship) Backwards on ssr7 is epic.

Cos its a bike engine, so FA torque and all the power at the top end!

Tune the motor and fit a custom 'box and an LSD and it goes bloody quickly 👍

Oh yeah and it looks fappin' awesome if you paint it chrome :)
