Shadow effect on overlap

hi guys.

I would like to know if there is any option where I can set the overlapped cars shadow effect off?

I've looked in the game and I didn't find it :S

Sorry if this has been covered and for the dumb question :S

You can turn the ghost car off in offline time trials/practce. Online it always happens if penalties are on, turning penalties off gets rid of most of it.
 
Thank you I'll try it tonight. the reason is I'm trying to start a little league with my friends with various classes of cars. Of course the low power cars get overlapped many times but we don't want them to get "shadowed" when we are passing them to make the thing more real. Thank you all ;).

I figured that we could turn off the illusion of the car just pressing on the upper key of the cross :scared:

Sadly, the only way to disable that online is to turn off penalties and hope everyone behaves. It would be nice if you could set those things separately. But I suppose a lot of things would be nice.

Yes that's what I meant by "turning it off on time trials." I don't think there's a menu option to disable the ghosts.
