Share something good about yourself, whether it is a recent acomplishment, or just makes you happy.
To start off;
I'm in a good mood for a number of reasons, 1. I got first place in my 100 meter butterfly event at a recent swim competition, and 2. I hit the town with a ladyfriend lastnight and I had a good time.

How about yourself?

i hated doing long course butterfly. i was all about the streamlines off the wall. no one could go as fast as me or as far as me. thats why long course my best time was 1:08.xxx and short course i went a 54.xxx

Good thread idea...

I made thankyou cards for my son's 1st birthday today. We went to the park. The painters finally started doing their work. I ate pork chops for dinner. I will be playing GT3 in about ten minutes. I own an investment property, as much of a pain as that my be at times. gt4 used my disturbing avatar. My son says Da Da now. I enjoyed my weekend even though I'm sad it's over. I made waffles for breakfast today. Ummm... all for now.

I have off of school tomorrow. My band has a jam session tomorrow. I'm drinking some chocolate milk.

1500 lines of code in 8 hours - with debugging and remotely helping 5 of my close friends with it :banghead: - by now, I've got 15-20 people on my block list because I don't want them asking me for help because they never return the favour.

got a 63 on my history midterm (I was expecting a 40something)

I saved my graphics card just in time. If I didn't catch the dead fan 3 days ago and changed it today, I would have lost a damn good card by probably 6pm tomorrow. The half of the chip was brown and singed.

I haven't thrown my laptop out the window or at anybody since I got it in september. Here's another 2 years when I can buy it off my school and replace it with something good

I just saved a lot of money on my car insurance by switching to Geico!👍

Seriously though, my Dad's going away on business this week so I'll get to drive his WRX until friday. That's definitely a good thing.

Definatly a good thing. I just got back from throwing my WRX around the town. I'm just driving to get more and more miles till I hit that magic 2,000 mile marker.

Yeah, my dad never really did the 2,000 mile break in....but he never revs it past like 4500rpm anyway, so I guess it's no big deal. He's got a silver 03. I prefer the 04 lights, but it's all good. You don't see the headlights when you're driving it anyway. :)

I'm keeping it below four, sort of. The manual actually says 1,000 miles and your off. But I'm going to baby it for these first 2,000 miles. I would bet that first gear will see 6500rpms daily after break in, second gear too... possibly. So, I'm keeping her nice and subtle right now.

Haha, yeah. The bug eyes certainly aren't a favorite of mine but people have done some wonderful things to make them look good. Still, 2004 for me and I'd have it no other way. A big plus is having the tach in the center. Not sure why I like it there so much, but I do.

how many have you got to go? (miles)

650 more till 2,000 miles. I can usually knock out 100 in a couple days. I get off work, and then just drive around for an hour and a half or so.

I actually had a little fun slightly launching it tonight. The difference between 2k and 3k is amazing. I'm not even dropping the clutch (feathering it slightly) and at 2k its nothing big, but 3k it's off and running. I even got the tires to break a little! Amazing little car that I'm just starting to discover. In comparison, a lot of guys will launch at ~5,500rpms at tracks, feathering the clutch. I imagine when I eventually get it up to the local strip I'll be shocked.

Bought a pocket radio on the weekend so now I dont have to listen to stupid people be noisy at work. England got beat at rugby (👍 ), Arsenal drew with ManU, got a good nights sleep last night and got a good parking at work this morning.

Last week I made some electronics update, got me a digicam and a new nice 19" screen. It's always fun to buy stuff.

In a week and a half from now I'll be visiting & celebrating easter with my family, haven't seen them since christmas and I miss them.

This weekend a very boring class in school ended and a new one is starting today. Now on to sociology, It should be fun. :)

I'm in quite a good mood today.

I'm currently ranked 1st in my maths class
I'm learning to write semi-decent code . (Hey eMad you wouldn't happen to know...)
I got back together with one of my ex's for all the right reasons.

I am starting to make my website (again)

I have created 5 manga cars (they have gotten better and better)

Im going on a date this upcoming weekend

I got to drive my mom's PT Cruiser (better than the minivan:D)

I laughed at Crayola's sig (I love that movie, I need to buy it on DVD)

Yeah, this is a cool thread.

My wife and I took last week off and remodelled our bathrooms while staying home with our baby (instead of spending our vacation flying all over creation). We pulled down all the old hardware fixtures, lighting, cheesy wallpaper and put up a new dry coat, paint, lights and sinks. All we kept was the tile and toilets.

I got a crash course in home plumbing and electrical and got scarily good at installing towel bars and sink hardware. It was cool. Home improvement rocks.

Today I went WOT several times in my car during lunch. I love the induction noise from it with a (relatively) open intake. Pure classic straight six growl.

Well, I had a relatively tough weekend to say the least. A lot of bs came out of me when Kristen got home and it all poured out one after another. I believe what set me off was the fact that she told me she just wanted to quit and not leave to go back to rehearsals. It took the life out of me to tell her not to quit. I had to bite my lip real hard because I truly wanted to tell her to come home and stay. . . So this morning before she left to go back down to Fort Lauderdale, she did not want to leave. She wanted to stay and she was not about to drive back down there. After an hour and 45 minutes I was able to talk her into getting back up and get down to rehearsals. It took so much energy out of me refraining from being selfish and telling her what the right thing to do was. . . I am still kinda wrecked over it. But I also think it was a good thing I did this previous weekend.

thanks for listening to my rants. . .

Well I'm happy today since its my last week in my crappy little townhouse to move into a brand new house which will be finished this tuesday. Plus I have a civi day tomorrow and the day after that, and I get a half day on wednesday which is the day I move to my new house. So ya I'm happy today.

Well I'm happy because I'll hopefully be getting an ipod soon. :D

I got an iPod on Saturday, 40gb currently using 17. I think a 20 gig woulda bin enough... Im strugleing to be bothered getting another 500 hours of music.

Asked the girl that I really like if she would go out with me and she said yes.

Nothing much else really, got a bit bummed that there was an age limit for setting up hire purchases because I was planning on getting an iPod or similar :grumpy:.
