Ok, Before I posted this I did a search and could find nothing that answered my question so please dont flame me ;_;.

Where can I order a shark port?

Hey Griffin, I'm gonna move this to the "Hybrids and Gameshark" forum as you will get more responses there.

As for finding a Sharkport, well, that's kinda tough these days.
Check out:

BestBuy.com
Amazon.com
ebay.com

Start with those, but like I said, Sharkports are becoming scarce as Interact was bought by another company.

techniquly they are but arent the same. origanly it was sp vs xp but they quit producing sp so now xp is compatible with both ar and gs

Xport and Sharkport have always been the same device, supporting the same encryption. It was only re-named because Datel sold the Gameshark name to Madcatz. The Xport which is compatable with GS2 v2 and AR2 codes is available at Codejunkies if you can not find it at any of your local stores.

Ok, just so everything is cleared up for me. The shark port is now the X port and this is the device were i can save stuff on my pc for my ps2 and were i can DL game saves and such?

Last question, is everything I need to connect my PS2 to my PC in the Xport box? If not what do I need?

I ordered one from Best Buy a month ago and still haven't gotten it. I did receive two emails telling me it was backordered and extending the ship date. The most recnt one told me they are canceling the order. So don't oder it from Best Buy.

Everything you need will be in the box and ready to use...easy plug and play device. You just need one open USB port. There are sites that you can DL from...that Codejunkies site comes to mind. You can DL codes for the GS2 v2 ro AR2 and even the AR Max now. Plus gamesaves for many games. Cheatplanet.com has gamesaves as well, but if you just use a search engine, you can find thousands. There was this guy I used to talk to, went by the name Spongeworthy, he has a site full of codesaves and gamesaves.
As far as GT3 goes though, you can share cars with people here through .ini files and such, but you will find it more satisfying to build your own.

I gave Boombexus the link, and it has been posted in the pinned MK's topic above. Codejunkies (Datel) who made the sharkport and now currently makes the Xport carries them for less money and they can be ordered off their site.

A few X-Port questions...

1th. With X-Port i can.. Download Save Games from the net and store them on my PS2 Memory Card..

2nd. Can i Hybrid Cars..???

 :odd:  :p

Yes to both, you can download saves from the internet, and save them to your card, or to your PC. You can also upload from your memory card to your PC to back-up files. Using the database program that MK and a few of us have written you can make hybrids faster and easier than using any other method.

Just want to point out that the xport being sol at cdwow.com is the PAL version, and would be useless to NTSC users like Griffin and phillip.

how about this, we hold sony in europe hostage, so we can get our hands on versions of GT4, thus getting a new MK and being the ultimate hybriders. wait... you have a gameshark or an action replay right?

Yeah I know U said it was a UK result, which could be interpreted in different ways, so I thought I should spell it, so these guys wouldn't order something they can't use. Sorry if that pisses U off.
