Ok, confused? I would be. Ill make it simple. Is it possible to use a sharkport to get saved replay files, and convert them into standard movie files? Like, mov, avi, wmp, rma, whatever...or is there some type of player that can play the sharkport files?

I know people suggest capture cards for this, but my problem with that is the computer I just bought is a laptop. I would need a pcimcia or USB type of converter. I have some free parallel ports, and an S-video, but I think thats an out. Ideas anyone?

No.

A Sharkport/Xport file is not a replay file - it is a replay information file. The piece of equipment required to decipher the replay information is... a PS2 with GT3 in it.

You need a capture card - such as a video card with ViVo, or a WinTV card (£50 - can't argue), to connect the PS2 playing the replay to the PC to record it.

Well like I said, on my laptop I cant change the videocard. It has an integrated ATi graphics controller (64megs). Its not the best, but its nice none the less. Isnt that was one of those Dazzle things does, so I can convert from RCA plugs to a USB conencter? I was told once that USB isnt fast enough for high resolution real time video...
