i thought the skarkport was the NTSC version while the xport was the PAL version. but arnt they just calling both versions xport now? i thought i saw that at best buy the other day

Sharkport was discontinued and X-port took it's place. That's my understanding. Same thing just a different name. I'm just not sure if the file type is the same or not. Anyone know?

I got an X-port from codejunkies.com the other day, and it was for a US (NTSC) PS2 (which I have)... and it uses ".xps" files.... however that does not mean that the PS2 will understand all xps files... only the ones that come from ntsc PS2's... I think this is going to get more complicated in the future as it's getting that not everyone can read all .xps files.... I think ".sps" files are kind of being phased out.

Hi All,
I just changed the .xps to .sps and got the files to open in sharkport. I dont think there would be a problem with .sps to .xps.
Just my .02

The Port would be happy with .xps, .xpo, .sps and .spo files - they're all the same thing. However the PS2 that receives them won't be.

There are 4 lines of code that appear between all saved game files (I believe this includes replays, but I've never tried). They are different NTSC to PAL. These need to be changed in saved games before they will open on the PS2.

Other than that, everything's the same.

Isn't Cali a Hindu god(dess)?

Xports should cost roughly $30, and I'm told there's a shop called "Best Buy" which sell them. But basically anywhere you can buy computer games from...

I know... I was messin'... The Hindu god(dess) is Kali anyway... Never mind...

Well I downloaded the Sharkport software so it organizes my .sps saves
