Sharkport/Xport - differences between two?

I am having a lot of trouble getting a hold of an Xport. No Electronics Boutique stores know what I am talking about and I can't find any on ebay either. Could I buy a Sharkport form the US and use it on my PAL PS2?

That is the latest version of the X-Port.

Sharkports aren't sold anymore.Now there is only X-Port.
