So... I'm at level 1448 on vigilante, right...

I'm screwing around because it's kind of boring, trying to squash the guys... (I'm in front of the airport, not in the airfield)...

I have one star...

I miss one of the guys, and he jacks me and pulls me out...

Then, I proceed to accidentally switch to the remote detonated grenades and throw one...

Then the 100% bug kicks in and I can't switch weapons.

Meanwhile, the cops have come... but I can't shoot them, because I'm stuck on the remote... and it's too risky to grab a cop car with the cops right by the car.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that I ran about 20 feet, turned around, and the Hunter was gone... *sigh*

So, I book it to the airport metal detector... run in, toss my weapons... came out, grab a gun, run out, cop car comes... I shoot the cops, and hop in the cop car *one* second too late... vigilante mission cancelled.

Argh.

I'm gonna go kick my dog now (just assume I have one).

Yep,

You want to spend 5 hours getting up that high in vigilante and then do something stupid like that.

Vigilante rule #1

Don't land unless you clear ALL your stars--why risk it??

If you do land leave the hunter door open, less likely to Un-Spawn.

Tell me about it. I landed the Hunter 'cos there was a car buried underground in a tunnel at the airport and when I hopped back in, a cop nabbed me 'cos I had one star. I was at Level 1675.

I cant wait to get vice city again. I had it when my ps2 started acting stupid and returned it and said Ill be back when The prices drop. (because my station wasnt reading the disk)now that my stations cool I cant wait for the prices to drop. when they gonna drop :confused:

I believe it. It took A-Spec almost a year and a 1/2 to drop, by then I'll have other games on the brain.

Yeah, the price will only drop when it goes platinum...or maybe when it goes on Xbox.
 
I saw in the news that Sony was gonna up the number of consoles being shipped by 1 million, prices should drop eventually.
