It made me that the only car to make it onto the track, then break before the race was the Chevy Caprice!

Looks like a Del Slow to me... The back of the door windows isn't curved enough for an MX-3.

Odd choice to banger race either, to be honest.

I think those are right. The Rover looks too big to be a P4, so I think P5 will be closer.

the ones that really surprise me are the Daimler limos. i'll just think to myself that they were rusty beyond repair, but ouch.

looks like prohibitive amount of fun tough, like Mexico city at 7:00 pm in friday payday.

When i went up to the stock car/banger racing in cowdenbeath to support a couple of mates i was amazed at how much money their is in it.

Everyone was turning up in trucks/converted buses costing in excess of £100k to build even some of the cars which look just like corsa's,106 etc for a rolling shell some of them were selling for £35-40,000.

Spot a few Toyota Supra's,a Toyota Crown, 2 Daimler DS420 limo's,plenty Jaguar XJ6's,few Volvo 740's,a pair of Datsun 300c's,2 Vauxhall Omegas,a few newer shape Granada's,a Rover P5,a Mk2 Granada 4 door Hearse and Limo,a later Granada hearse,a Jaguar XJS,Mk10 Jaguar,some Oldsmobile estate and a Rolls Royce Silver Shaddow!

That wrecked green/yellow one with 555 on the top was a Mk2 Granada Estate.
