After a year playing GT5 I've just started playing Shift 2 and I have to say while GT5 physics and car modeling are the more accurate Shift 2 delivers the better racing experience, the AI is better the sense of speed is better, also the track selection I think is better. If someone can merge these two games together then what we will have on our hands is the best driving/racing game, it won't of course!

This subject has been covered # million times already. We don't need another.

sorry mate if this has been posted before but I haven't been visiting the forums for some time, you don't have to comment if you're bored with it ;-)

 Just telling you. But most (In fact, I think all) ended up in a huge flamewar and got the lock…

no worries, I can understand both sides of the argument to be honest, I am a GT guy but I think the guys behind it need to look at Shift they can learn a few things.

played both... like GT5 more... but there are some tiny things in Shift 2 that I like and GT5 doesn't have. But I wouldn't play Shift 2 again... it feels a little arcadey at times... Nevertheless, I like the tuning options, the dirt effects... and pretty decent damage... But the physics are not a patch on GT5, or straight out graphics
