Shifting issues with update 1.52

Ever since update 1.52. I've been having issues with shifting down on my completely stock Logitech G923 on my PS4. When I have to shift down from gear 6 or 5 down to gear 2 or 1. There will be moments that it won't shift for a good second or 2. Sometimes if I shift down a single gear. It will shift 2 gears down. This is mainly during a race. Which proven to be a real issue during this past Saturdays exhibition race. When I'm in the garage and I use the paddle shifter to navigate. I only get the issue where it doesn't go left with the left paddle (down shift). However, during a race. I don't have any issues at all when I'm using the H pattern shifter. So I loaded up ACC and I didn't have a single issue with the paddle shifter.

Maybe you're driving a car with overrev protection? I feel like the 430 scud is one of the cars that sometimes blocks down shifts that are to aggressive. Possibly you're having similar issues with another car?

On Gran Turismo 7? I've never experienced that before on GT7. I've been using the V12 Vantage GT3 since I've been taking part in the exhibition races. However, I've experienced the same issues with all the cars that I had to use for the weekly challenges. Also, on ACC I haven't experienced these issues. Even in the V12 Vantage GT3 car. IDK if that makes a difference. I'm under the impression that both games are trying to mimic the real cars themselves.

I have noticed that the issue subsides if I turn off my PS4 instead of leaving it in rest mode but after about an hour. The issue comes about. I do have a cooling fan stand and a exhaust fan. Both are not utilizing the PS4. They are plugged in it's own power source .
