I got this game for Christmas and it RULES! Some of the best hack-n-slash gameplay since the side-scrolling Shinobi for Sega Genesis.

Anyone else have it? Thoughts, opinions? Overall the game gets 9/10 from me (it is long and very hard in certain levels.
 
No! Not at all. You have to use your stealth dash at certain times and time everything right. The controls take a little getting used to. And its not really like Kingdom Hearts. There is no item collecting or anything. Just plain old ass-kickin'.
 
The original shinobi = spectacular
The new Shinobi = Crap, the one for PS2....Oh my god, it makes less sense than Larry King playing Counterstrike. However the Scarf is great, which was voted the best new game character of the year by Game informer(The Scarf that is). I mean, the Scarf alone had it's own Physics engine.

Played it in my friends PS2. He owns it.
Boring, Boring, BORING :mad:

Same enemies with different color costumes. I thought we left that on the SNES and NES era. Bland and repetitive level designs. The ability to run on the walls, is not that necessary. The kill animations are good, once, twice, maybe three times, but it easily gets boring.

Oh, and I havent played a game with worst camera angles than this one.
 
On the note of worste camera angles. I beg to differ. Go play Tomb Raider Angel of Darkness. You can line the camera up so you can actually see into Lora's model, and to he floor. Her eye's are just half ping pong ballz
 
i have it but yet to play it.. i saw my brother play and later on the sword sux ur life out... and frustrating bosses... unless u do 1 hit finish :P
