The Gran Turismo TV feature is a rather good idea, and can be conducted well. But PD refuses to update the database, and you can only view your purchased videos for a year.

Should PD update their GTTV constantly with new Super GT and possibly more (NASCAR, V8 Supercars, WRC, D1, etc.) sports league videos, or should it be dropped from the upcoming GT6?

In my opinion, it's an underrated and underdeveloped feature, and should be kept and updated.

I have never used it, so I say get rid of it.

I honestly have no clue why they even bothered with it. If I wanted to buy/rent/whatever content using my PS3 to watch on it, I would do it through PSN. I see no reason to have to do it through a game.

I think it's underdeveloped because no one uses it, there are better racing leagues on TV and when people start a game they intend to play not to watch.

Waste of time and effort with very little of interest.

What is of interest, post on utube. Drop GTTV and pretend it never happened. If anyone brings it up, say "Sony made us do it, we wanted to make more cars and tracks and better physics and sounds and AI!" Might not be true, but it will sound good.

Used it once or twice a long time ago but it's pretty pointless

Only time I ever used it was for the new intro movie. Stopped caring about it when I saw some of the stuff on there actually had a price.

GTTV is lame. I've checked it out a couple times. Never bought anything using it though.
Also, I would bet all the videos on GTTV, whether they cost money or not, can be found on the internet for free, probably on Youtube.

👍 This. It's of very little interest, some of it was vaguely interesting but I've found much more interesting car & racing related stuff for free on the web.

To get a better picture of majority opinion... as if you can ever get that on a forum... this thread should have a poll.

Asking what people think is okay, but for those of us that could care less, we'd rather let the numbers tell the story, and it may also help PD with feature analysis, should they bother checking.

👍

I like the idea and i downloaded alot of Free Videos, but i wouldn't buy videos because the SuperGT aren't up to Date.

The Feature is a Good idea but they didn't updated it for a Long Time. I think the interest wasn't there.

Poll has been added. 👍

Waste of time. As other have said, If I want to watch motorsport videos I don't want to fire up a videogame to do so.

+1 I have watched most of the free ones, but even a cursory youtube search gives more / more interesting vids.

If they were going to put a price on the videos, they should've made it like a bundle at a reasonable price, not price each individual episode. I wanted to watch the D1GP and Super GT videos even if they were outdated, but I don't want to pay in excess of US$70.00 just for content that I can have only temporarily (1 year):crazy::crazy:

but then again, you can find these vids on Youtube for free, so yeah. Drop GTTV 'cause it's a waste of time, effort, and more importantly, money. :D

I wouldn't mind having it if your purchased videos will remain purchased for beyond 365 days. I mainly use it to watch Best Motoring videos, but I can do that through YouTube's GTChannel thing.
