Should gymkhana be in the next game?

Meh... pesonal preference I suppose. I'd like a pure racing Gran Turismo simulation/game. I've tried AutoX/Cone'd events IRL... and even in an Ariel Atom it's not fun to me. I'd rather be on a race track, with other race cars, racing. Not drifting or putting on a tire smoke show for fun.

Gymkhana would be totally unheard of to most people if it wasn't for his videos (80 million views for the series now)

He's also started Gymkhana GRID, giving it a launchpad to future success.

I knew of and followed Ken Block's progress well before he joined WRC and trust me, his world rally performances are not an accurate representation of how talented he is.

What Ken Block does, while entertaining, is not really gymkhana. Real gymkana is a timed event like autocross, except the courses are laid out differently and to you have to do things like stop and drive backwards. Considering how easy it would be to implement (modeling a parking lot and some cones shouldn't be too hard), there's no reason not to put both in the next game. It would be a great way to learn technical low-speed driving.

Like I posted earlier...Anyone is welcome to try out or just drive with my gymkhana/rally car club. You can win some rare and gymkhana tuned cars in our contests.

I have a few good top gear test track gymkhana courses laid out. So, just message me and come check it out. We are always looking for good drivers, but no knobs with egos.

I just wish it was more like the WRC. Touge type courses from point A to point B. Also, I was hoping they would add a co driver reading you pace notes. That is only available in the rally special event, which is dumb IMHO.

It's cool but ultimately too much of a trick competition for me to think it should be in the game. The learning curve seems too steep as compared to other events in GT5.

There should be a gymkhana course creator, as in, you actually place the track objects, not like the crappy "track editor" we have now.

I'd say no. There's infinitely many feature I'd like to see before 'gymkhana'.
