Should I buy a G27 now for $150 or wait?

Need opinions. A found a Best Buy that will sell me a G27 they have in stock for $150. Problem is I don't even own a PS3 now. I was planning on waiting until fall or when GTP5 comes out to get one. So if I buy now I'll have to hang onto it for about 6 mos. I was also thinking there possibly might be a new Logitech wheel coming out around GTP5 release or other packages with PS3, etc., so I'm not sure if I should bite on the G27 now. But it's a great price, and I could probably resell it if I don't mind the hassle and not loose too much money. What'cha think guys?
 
Definetely buy it! I have one being held at my local Best Buy until I get off work. These bring $230-$250 on ebay if they are unopened. I would have bought 5 of them if I could, but they only had one left and I'm keeping it. I also kinda doubt that they will have another wheel out by the time GT5 comes out. This one came out last fall and the G25 was out for a couple of years before they released the G27. Hope this helps ya.
 
Easy choice if you can find one. I bought one for the $150 price and I don't have a PS3 or a racing setup either, plus I'll have to get GT5 when it comes out. I'll either hang on to it (hope so!) or sell it (most likely since I'm sorta broke). They were selling for $220+ new over the weekend. That will drop a bit with the onslaught of people who bought it for $150 reselling but should still be able to get 30-40$ profit if you decide to resell down the road.
 
Is this just a clearance/sale at your local Best Buy or should I make a trip and hope for a $150 one?
 
Get it. It a good price, and its a good wheel. If you like racing, this is the deal to get.

I read the deal is closed now. If it's not, buy it and sell it to me ;)

I saw this deal just this morning. called 3 best buys, all three out of stock, and saying retail is 299... sad I missed this awesome deal.
 
According to a Best Buy manager, apparently the deal was funded by Logitech themselves, so as soon as they stopped getting reimbursed $150 per wheel, the deal was pulled. Now the conspiracy theorists of a G29 or a DFGT/G27 hybrid for GT5 may officially start their engines.

Yeah San Diego kinda sucks for these deals. You're best bet is just to make friends with an Best Buy employee, 215 out the door ;)

or a G29 with DFGT features will do - LOL
 
150 bucks for G25? BUY BUY BUY!!! See, i am more of a FANATEC fan, but for 150 bucks, its a best wheel for the bang ;)
