If you press ~ to bring up the console and type in

STAT FPS

it displays the frames per second it is running at on your machine. Type again to turn off. Good way of testing out which antialiasing methods work the best fps/image quality wise.

I did this yesterday on my brand new pc with an 8X Ti 4200 and it got around 70-80 FPS. I'm not sure if it was low because I had several bots running and it was sapping cpu cycles to render them though. All I have to say is, my brand new system is incredible.
