Showroom stock interest?

I love running showroom stock, tuning prohibited. My brother and I have been lining up against each other almost every evening, but we're typically the only ones in the room.

I'd like to gauge interest in a showroom stock, tuning prohibited club. I'd like to run for a few hours a few times a week in the evenings, after supper and before bedtime.

So far we've been doing 520pp, sports soft. It is a bunch of fun and keeps it real competitive. I feel like it places the emphasis on the driver. It definitely simplifies things.

Since the tuning prohibited update, I've been buying second versions of my favorite cars and keeping them stock. I put those stock cars only on my favorites list. It's like having a big custom recommended cars list.

Here's what I have in mind:

CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN
520pp (although we can very this as much as desired)
Sports Soft tires
Tuning prohibited
no boost
weak penalty (to keep cheaters from shortcutting)
Visible damage on
damage weak
draft weak
grip reduction real
tire wear on
longish races, 5 to 10 laps, possibly more
CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN

I really prefer gentleman's rules. If you bugger up, you voluntarily forfeit your position. If you make a mistake, do right by the other racers. However, my brother and I have been known to suddenly switch to British touring car rules. That's just 'cause we're super competitive family. I don't expect that in a club racing situation. I know I want to beat you fair and square.

some of the showroom cars that fit the 520pp bill:
M5, R8 4.2, RS6, CL63, SL55, 8C, DB9, Z06, XKR, IS-F, Tuscan, Viper GTS. Obviously the used car dealership has tons more to choose from.
Some of the aforementioned cars, i.e. Z06 are closer to 500pp however they remain competitive due to each car's inherent strengths and weaknesses in stock condition (it wants to drift all day but on the straight it can outrun the AWD R8 which is ten pp higher).

I would suggest turning visible damage to off. It seems to reduce lag/network problems.
