ShowThread link Problems with OLR forums...

Ok, this only happens on certain occasions, but it gets kind of annoying when it happens. In the main index, if you want to see the latest post in a forum, you click on the little arrow-ish button next to the name of the person who last posted. This is probably a well known fact, but sometimes when I click that button in the OLR Forum, it takes me to a page saying that I've tried to access a place that I may not access. This isn't that serious, but it irks me sometimes (usually it's when a moderator's name is under "last post"...). Why does this happen and how can I fix it?
 
This happens because there are a few subforums of the ORL forum that are closed to only a few specific members. If the latest post is in one of those forums, it will still show up as the latest post for it's parent forum and provide a link to it, although you (if you don't have access) will not actually be able to see the thread. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do, although I do believe this is something that has been fixed in the next version of vBulletin.
 
ok, thanks for clearing that up (btw, don't you mean they're only open to a few specific members?). So they're kinda like modarators' forums?

Yes, that's what I mean, sorry. :O They are just like the moderator's forum. :)
